Eddie is a graduate from Chung Ling High School, Penang, Malaysia. His interest in the harmonica was seeded when he joined the school's harmonica band. He is a true harmonica enthusiasts, my memories recall that, he plays, sleeps with his harmonica as like his second life.

Many people will choose right place to practice harmonica. But Eddie's harmonica practice venues can be at bus stop, in the bus, on the beach, open field... or any place, any time that he can afford.

Eddie's enthusiasm towards harmonica playing had rewarded him with many prizes. 

In 1998, he was a Triple Champion in  The Asia Pacific Harmonica Competition as shown below:

1. Champion (Diatonic) -   "Orange Blossom Special”

2. Champion (Junior Chromatic Solo) - “Picture of a Woman"

3. Champion (Trio Open) - “Granada"

Eddie's musical senses and touches are not limited to what he reads, but any notes pass through his ear will not miss out.  Thus many players were handicapped by non available of scores, Eddie can just pick up any song so long as the record or CD is available.

Recently in UK, he participated in a competition at which he played a song original performed by the late harmonica virtuoso, Tommy Reilly. The audiences were so amazed and proclaimed - ' the late master has alive ' through his delicate touches on harmonica skills like the late master.

His present in UK is expanding his horizon in harmonica arena.  Since then, he has met with numerous harmonica masters through various harmonica events and activities.

His is planning to produce a harmonica CD, which is in the discussion stage with the producer.

Eddie is definitely the ‘pride and role model’ of young generation harmonica players not only locally, but internationally as well.
